Seminar 1: General Theory of AI - Understanding Large Language Models

The seminars are led by Esko Reinikainen, an interdisciplinary practitioner with over two decades of experience across the cultural, public, and innovation sectors. His career spans theatre direction, cultural administration, and local government, with a focus on guiding organisations through complex transitions.

His career is characterized by an autodidactic approach - a quality that gave him a head start in the domain of AI. In a revolutionary and constantly evolving field where formal degrees are rare, Esko has spent the past three years immersing himself in artificial intelligence so you don’t have to. He has distilled the vast landscape of AI knowledge into a practical literacy framework and a series of accessible courses designed to make complex concepts understandable and applicable. His broad experience shapes a teaching style that makes complex ideas clear - focused on how people really learn, practical understanding over jargon, and helping learners gain confidence in knowing when and how to use AI.

His current consulting work focuses on AI integration in traditional sectors, particularly healthcare organisations navigating AI implementation and regulatory frameworks. You can find out more here.
